For more than 20 years, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (formerly the Society of Fundraising Executives) has been recognizing outstanding individuals, businesses, and volunteer groups for their commitment and dedication to supporting causes that they believe in.
In professional fundraising, such partnerships are vital to the charitable and nonprofit sectors as they enable them to pursue their missions. It is our pleasure to honour those who exemplify commitment and dedication towards helping their communities.
This year’s awards dinner will coincide with National Philanthropy Day celebrations. What better way to honour those committed to philanthropy than on National Philanthropy Day.
All nominees and award recipients will be recognized at the 2009 Maritime Philanthropy Awards Dinner on Monday, November 16, 2009. Nominees will receive a commemorative plaque and award winners in each category will receive a beautiful award.
